When my wife and I were looking for a new car, she demanded that it have OnStar, so that required me to buy a GM product. So, we looked at the cars at Monument, Champion Chevrolet, and Davis Chevrolet. At Champion, we entered the showroom and had to wait approximately 10 minutes before someone approached us to ask if they could help.The salesman took us to his cubicle and then went to visit with his manager. 30 minutes later, he was ready to show us his cars. At Davis, we were quickly greeted and shown the cars that we were interested in. But when we asked for a printout of their pricing on one car, the salesman refused to provide one. By comparison, Monument immediately greeted us, showed us the cars, and provided a print out of the cost of the car within a comfortable 1 hour visit. We bought at Monument primarily because (1) we were treated with respect and courtesy; (2) better pricing; (3) a belief by both me and my wife that Monument wanted us to do business with them. A. Dear Gentleman, I'm writing this email regarding Kevin Reynolds. I bought a 2008 Tahoe from your dealership a little less than a month ago. I was so pleased with this car deal, I wanted to let you know that Kevin made it so easy and was so professional. I have bought many cars for business and pleasure and I hate playing the car game. We live in Beaumont and all the local car dealers either didn't have or wouldn't get me what I wanted I called Kevin and he has been a pleasure to work with from the start. I don't rate companies just buy the purchase but also customer service. He has called and checked more than once if we were completely satisfied and emailed me. First, I want to thank you very much for letting us use your dealership to check car seats. You have always been very pleasant to work with and your dealership has a great spot for us to use. Next, I wanted to share a letter with you that a parent sent the car seat inspection site coordinator, Paty, thanking us for checking her daughter's car seats. They were involved in a wreck and her daughters were fine. Ms. Morales and team, Words cannot describe how thankful I am for you and your team having properly secured and inspected my car seats last month at Monument Chevrolet in the Pasadena area. I had a good feeling when I left the inspection, knowing that my daughters' car seats were installed in the safest way possible. Unfortunately the safety of the seats was tested when my family was in an accident yesterday afternoon. Fortunately no one was hurt in the accident. I am most certain that without last month's inspection by your team, my daughters would have been injured. We were in traffic on I-45 S near Beltway 8 and Dixie Farm Rd -- we were stopped in traffic as were the cars ahead of us. We were rear-ended by a vehicle going approximately 30-35 miles a hour--I am not sure if he tried to/able to stop before hitting us. This resulted in a chain reaction accident--we were driving the Tahoe. I would like to thank your team for keeping my family safe! Sincerely, S. Martin
